Of the Granby Arms, Uppermill was buried in the New Yard 11/08/1919 aged 62, buried with his wife Mary Alice 14/09/1895 aged 41, and their infant son Adam whom we have recorded as being 3 years buried 18/10/1890.

This unusual and ornate headstone depicts an image of a whippet ,which must have had some significance to Sidney.
