About

“To reimagine our iconic (church) building as an inspiring and welcoming place for all our community”

We have been entrusted with the care of this beautiful and historic Parish Church. It has been passed down to us from previous generations and our local community challenge is to care for it, maintain, and to pass it on, to those who come after us, in at least as good a condition as that in which we received it. The building and churchyard(s) are a valuable asset, they are a focal point for families and Saddleworth community.

Even though people no longer go to church in the way that they used to, we know that they still value and care for its legacy. The links on the top of the page, will direct you to stories and information regarding the historical church and churchyards.
