Buried 31/10/1910 at a cost of 91/6 s, he lived at Maurston Hotel, Ardwick when he died.
The son of George and Mary Holden of Chorlton on Medlock, is also buried here. Lewis Vincent Holden, he was a Private (73589) in the 15th Bn Royal Welch Fusiliers. The grave is marked by a CWG headstone. he died aged 22 of wounds he received in France 22/09/1920.
Lewis is not commemorated on the memorial on Pots and Pans but the position of his grave puts him within view of the memorial.

- 20.10.1914 Formed in London and then moved to Llandudno and joined the 128th Brigade of the 43rd Division.
- 29.04.1915 The formation became the 113th Brigade of the 38th Division.
- Aug 1915 Moved to Winchester.
- Dec 1915 Mobilised for war and landed in France and engaged in various actions on the Western Front including;
- 1916 – The Battle of Albert (The Division suffered severe casualties and took the rest of the year to rebuild).
- 1917 – The Battle of Pilkem, The Battle of Langemark.
- 27.02.1918 Disbanded.
Mary Holden was later buried 05/12/1940, recorded as living in Manchester.
