On Thursday 4th May, eight Flower Guild members met in the Parish Centre to make table decorations for the coffee morning/lunch that was then held on Saturday 6th.  Next day six volunteers set tables and decorated the room with flags and balloons. This was a joint effort with Uppermill Methodist church members.

On the morning of the coronation preparations were done by six ladies, events were watched on a big screen in the Parish centre and 35 people were served with refreshments, cakes having been made by members of our congregations, and sandwiches bought in.

There was a lovely warm, friendly atmosphere and appreciative comments when people left saying how they enjoyed getting together.
