The Flower Guild have worked very hard this year, theming flowers around events to create stunning visual experiences that enhance the visitor experience. This year’s Harvest Festival stands out as a shining example of their creativity and dedication; their ability to create set pieces that blend into the nature of the event is nothing short of remarkable. They meticulously choose flowers that not only complement the theme but also evoke a sense of warmth. The skilled artisans within the guild demonstrate their profound understanding of floristry as an art form. It is evident that they are truly gifted, which fosters a deeper appreciation for the natural beauty that surrounds us. Visitors often admire the harmonious way in which the guild’s work transforms the space, creating a memorable experience that lingers in the minds of all who attend.

This year, two festivals were held, firstly attended by the children of St Chad’s Junior and Infant School and secondly on Sunday.
At Saddleworth Parish Church, we would like to see the promotion of the calendar. Not only to highlight annual events and festivals, such as these for the pleasure and participation of the wider community, we want to encourage interaction amongst residents of all ages. We aim to ensure that everyone feels welcomed and included. Enabling individuals and families to connect with the rich culture and traditions that Saddleworth Church has a legacy of providing. We intend to offer a chance for reflection, celebration, and shared experiences that resonate throughout Saddleworth. Through these initiatives, we hope to strengthen the bonds of fellowship that emphasise the significance of our church as a cornerstone of local heritage and spiritual life.
